Specialty Cinema awarded rights for Signbox digital signage solutions

Specialty Group Pty Ltd is proud to announce that its Specialty Cinema division has been awarded the exclusive dealership for Signbox Microsystems Pte Ltd (Signbox) in Australia and New Zealand.

Signbox is one of Asia’s leading Cinema Digital Signage solution providers with a substantial focus on the cinema and entertainment industries. International reference customers include Golden Village, Cathay, Shaw, Reel, Ayala and other major cinema chains.

The Signbox digital signage system drives e-posters, candy bar menus and session time displays from a central, web-based management consol. The system has essentially infinite expansion capacity and has smoothly adapted to changing cinema environments in Asia over many years.

By using Signbox’s signCine Module, the system integrates seamlessly with existing ticketing/management systems to provide patrons with real-time session information such as session times and ticket availability. The signCine Module can connect seamlessly to ALL MAJOR venue management software systems.

The Signbox solution is highly flexible so it is able to manage and control not only the numerous LCD panels that make up the majority of foyer signage but also specialized signage like LED light boxes.

In addition to selling and supporting full Signbox implementations for large and medium cinema chains, Specialty Cinema will also provide a hosted, SaaS digital signage solution targeted at small and independent cinemas. With the hosted solution, there is no need to manage and maintain a server infrastructure, so it is ideal for small site where there is only the requirement for a limited number of screens.
